NEW YORK, NY -- (MARKET WIRE) -- 11/08/10 -- Prospect Capital Corporation (NASDAQ: PSEC) ("Prospect" or "Company") announced today that Prospect has declared monthly cash distributions in the following amounts and with the following dates:
10.0875 cents per share for November 2010 (record date of November 30, 2010 and payment date of December 31, 2010);
10.1000 cents per share for December 2010 (record date of December 31, 2010 and payment date of January 31, 2011); and
10.1125 cents per share for January 2011 (record date of January 31, 2011 and payment date of February 28, 2011).
As previously announced, following the Arrangement it is expected that New Penn West will adopt a quarterly dividend policy with an initial dividend rate of $0.27 per New Penn West Share, with the first dividend anticipated to be paid on April 15, 2011 to shareholders of record on March 31, 2011.
